ZERO WASTE DIVERSION STRATEGY FOR Radisson Suites Hotel Toronto Airport (December 2013)

Diversion of  over 16,000 lbs of e-waste with support of VISIONQUEST ENVIRONMENTAL STRATEGIES CORP. - AN INDUSTRY LEADER IN HOTEL ZERO WASTE DIVERSION STRATEGIES.  

 

VisionQuest Environmental Strategies Corp. has assisted Radisson Suites Hotel Toronto Airport to divert over 16,000 lbs of old CRT televisions from landfill through downstream recycling with certified downstream processor - Global Electric Electronic Processing.   The quantity of televisions amounted to three 40 yard roll-off bins, comprised of over three hundred old CRT units.

In addition, all corrugated cardboard collected from the new television packaging was also recycled.  Also, all polystyrene packaging (Styrofoam) packaging was also collected and diverted through Picture Depot (Toronto, Ontario) for reincorporation into picture frames.
